As you know, we almost never do blog posts. I’m still agonizingly close to finishing Humphrey, however, my husband got into a scooter accident the day before Memorial Day and ended up in UM Baltimore Shock Trauma. This is a world-class teaching hospital and the people are wonderful. He’s okay, but needs a lot of care right now.<\/p>\n
To complicate matters, for nearly a week, my mom has been in isolation for Covid at her memory care facility.<\/p>\n
This is a very difficult and frustrating time for those who have loved ones in care, including hospice. My heart goes out to everyone who is having to deal with these situations. Every hospital has a patient advocate and if you’re dealing with a situation that doesn’t make sense, I can help you find their number and understand your options.<\/p>\n
